Aquinas On God by Dr Rudi te Velde
Aquinas on God presents an accessible exploration of Thomas Aquinas' conception of God. Focusing on the Summa theologiae – the work containing Aquinas' most systematic and complete exposition of the Christian doctrine of God – Rudi te Velde acquaints the reader with Aquinas' theological understanding of God and the metaphysical principles and propositions that underlie his project. Aquinas' conception of God is dealt with not as an isolated metaphysical doctrine, but from the perspective of his broad theological view which underlies the scheme of the Summa. Readers interested in Aquinas, historical theology, metaphysics and metaphysical discourse on God in the Christian tradition will find this new contribution to the studies of Aquinas invaluable.
Waiting On God by Rev. Jack K. Chow
The Practice of Waiting on God is a latest Christian classic to make its debut. The book serves multiple purposes: It explains what waiting on God is all about and uncovers its intrinsic value; it points out some practical ways of finding and experiencing the invisible God, it helps build up and deepen ones personal relationship and intimacy with God, it ushers one into the presence of God and teaches how to remain therein, thus abiding in the Lord; it offers simple and practical suggestions as to how to hear the voice of God, how to know the will of God, how to obtain and retain the anointing of the Holy Spirit as well as how to be led by the Spirit of God.
Waiting On God by Andrew Murray
A month's worth of daily readings with a common theme--"my soul, wait thou only upon God" (Psalm 62:5). These stimulating meditations were born out of a burning conviction that Christians should learn to know God better. In his introductory sections, the author says: We want to...give God time and place to show us what He could, what He will do. Let us expect great things of our God. The great lack of our religion is we do not know God. Let us enlarge our hearts and not limit Him. We need more of God. [Prayer is] the one great remedy for all our need. Thirty-one thought-provoking reminders of the "must" of-- Waiting on God.
On God by Norman Mailer

On God And Dogs by Stephen H. Webb
Many of us keep pet animals; we rely on them for companionship and unconditional love. For some people their closest relationships may be with their pets. In the wake of the animal rights movement, some ethicists have started to re-examine this relationship, and to question the rights of humans to "own" other sentient beings in this way. In this engaging and thought-provoking book, Stephen Webb brings a Christian perspective to bear on the subject of our responsibility to animals, looked at through the lens of our relations with pets--especially dogs. Webb argues that the emotional bond with companion animals should play a central role in the way we think about animals in general, and--against the more extreme animal liberationists--defends the intermingling of the human and animal worlds. He tries to imagine what it would be like to treat animals as a gift from God, and indeed argues that not only are animals a gift for us, but they give to us; we need to attend to their giving and return their gifts appropriately. Throughout the book he insists that what Christians call grace is present in our relations with animals just as it is with other humans. Grace is the inclusive and expansive power of God's love to create and sustain relationships of real mutuality and reciprocity, and Webb unfolds the implications of the recognition that animals too participate in God's abundant grace. Webb's thesis affirms and persuasively defends many of the things that pet lovers feel instinctively--that their relationships with their companion animals are meaningful and important, and that their pets have value and worth in themselves in the eyes of God. His book will appeal to a broad audience of thoughtful Christians and animal lovers.
Count On God by Jack Sternik
“Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” - Hebrews 11:1 (NKJV) Faith is the opposite of fear. Without faith, it is impossible to please God. Faith in Christ secures freedom from condemnation; it is the necessary component of saving grace. Faith is fellowship with Jesus Christ. Faith trusts in the Word of God. Faith is a conviction that Jesus Christ is Messiah. Faith is experiencing life with Jesus Christ. Faith in Jesus Christ provides confidence. Faith in Jesus Christ is power to act. Grace and faith are the first principles of the Gospel. Faith in Jesus Christ believes in his attributes of character and perfection. True faith, by Jesus Christ’s definition, always involves surrender to the will of God. Be sure and secure in faith!

Waiting On God Ebook by Andrew Murray
How often the busyness of life can creep up and overwhelm us. Rather than depending on our own strength, as Christians it is our privilege to enter into a daily time of reverent meditation and silence, waiting only upon God for His answers to our problems, His direction in our lives, and most importantly, His awesome presence refreshing our spirits and teaching us more about Himself. Andrew Murray shares 31 heartfelt meditations, one for each day of the month, to help readers renew their vision and quicken their desire to turn to the Lord for His quiet, peaceful strength. Murray’s own prayer was that the Lord would use these meditations “to draw all to Himself, to learn in practice and experience the blessed art of waiting only upon God.”
