Pearls On A String by Rea-Silvia Costin P. E.
The need to write came into my life unexpectedly and with such force that it left me no choice but to follow. I published my first book Short Stories: The Story of a Refugee with Vantage Press in 1997. In 2003, I published the first book of a trilogy Thiana - AVDELA - A Macedonian Village in the Northwestern Greece: Thiana's Native Land and in 2004, I published the second volume of the trilogy ATHENS with iUniverse. American Publishing Company has published "America - The Final Destination", the third book of the trilogy. My poetry is published in the Best Poems and Poets of 2001, 2002, 2003, and 2005, The Theatre of the Mind, and The Celebration of Honors as well as Who's Who in Poetry 2004 and 2005, editions by the International Library of Poetry. In May 2002, I obtained my Laureate Certificate from the International Library of Poets. I am the recipient of the Editor's Choice Award, 2002, 2003, 2005, from the poetry.com site as well as the President's Award for Excellence in Literature from the National Authors Registry. The Volume II of Pearls on a String: Love Song deals with several universal themes: war, faith, love, death. What does poetry mean to me? It's a way to express deep feelings, to share with others my philosophy and understanding of life, and to give testimony of my faith in God.

A String Of Pearls by Marjorie Ward Bottorff
Life works best when we remember to use things and love people. It never works well the other way around. Marjorie Bottorff's humorous ideology works as a spiritual vitamin. Her book contains thirty-three stories filled with pearls of wisdom gathered from Marjorie's own experience of turning her 'irritants' into something lovely, just as an oyster makes a pearl. Read as Marjorie shares with you how to stop worrying about what others think of you, the truth about hair-color kits, why you don't get to make all of the rules, and even an interview with Noah. If you like Erma Bombeck, you will love Marjorie's related wit in A String of Pearls.
A String Of Pearls by Isabela Andrea Wanis
A String of Pearls is a book of poetry about a girl who has watched each year with deep analysis and has taken the moments which brought her the most sentiment, shock, devastation and joy and captured them into poems. Along with commentary and reflection on life and society's norms, like in "Bathroom Cabinet" and elation in the poem "Indigo Skies".
The String Of Pearls by Thomas Peckett Prest
The exploits of Sweeney Todd, 'The Demon Barber of Fleet Street', have been recounted many times in plays, films and musicals, but the origins of the character largely were forgotten for many years. The String of Pearls - the original tale of Sweeney Todd, a classic of British horror - was first published as a weekly serial in 1846-7 by Edward Lloyd, the King of the Penny Dreadfuls. One of the earliest detective stories, it became an important source for Bram Stoker's Dracula, but it was after over 150 years of obscurity that it appeared first in book form in the Wordsworth edition published in 2005.
